Zespół Szkół Elektronicznych i Informatycznych

Zespol Szkol Elektronicznych i Informatycznych is the coordinating school of the project about cyberspace, therefore responsible for tasks distribution & their proper realization. It was set up in 1965 as a state school and one of the first schools of this type in Poland. Since that time it has always been ‘avant garde’ and working successfully and steadily for its reputation of the best school in the field of electronics and computer science. In the past few years the management of our school has noticed the increasing interest in computer science subjects and environment among students , therefore as a school we focus more on this area of knowledge. The important way of improving and increasing the quality of our work is sharing the knowledge and ideas with different institutions from our region. Our teachers keep attending different courses, workshops individually or within The Leading Schools Club and The Active Vocational School Association which our school is an active and creative member of.

Our school is one of the most renowned and efficient educational institutions in the Silesian region. Its widespread reputation has been gained due to a wide scope of opportunities for exercising the faculties and abilities offered in different types of schools and specializations, state-of-the-art information technology equipment and professional, student-driven teaching staff. Based in the post - industrial area with a very high rate of unemployment our school particularly focuses on needs and requirements of students from families whose standards of living are very low. Meeting those needs and requirements constitutes the main objective of the School: to provide them with education in the professions that will allow them to find work as well as a wide range of specializations to continue their studies. Both teachers and students take pride in having been declared the best technical school in the Silesian Region in the ranking list created by experts from magazines 'Rzeczpospolita' and 'Perspektywy' this year. It obliges us to do even better in the future & find more innovative ways for making education in our school more attractive for young people in the region.

Professions we focus on at the moment:

  • technician in electronics of different specializations:
  • technician in informatics of different specializations
  • technician in teleinformatics
  • But we are open and work on introducing new specializations to meet the requirements of labour market.
